Still Need Dice Command
Celestryal and 4 others reacted to THX for a topic
Gizmo, In case you missed this in other threads, a dice or roll (/roll and /roll2) command in a color that can't be replicated by the person rolling (to cheat) is needed - or a physical dice that can be placed and rolled or a spinner.5 points -

It's simple, if you open a room you have the right to decide who can be there or not, it is your room. It could be for any reason, even just that you do not like a particular person or what ever crazy reason the owner decides. No one has the right to insist that a room owner allows someone in, it is their room and their decision. The only right anyone else has is to decide if they want to go to that room or stay in that room or not, if they don't like what the room owner decides they don't have to stay. There use to be rooms open where they would say in the room description, NO SEX and most would follow that rule, but some would purposely go in there just to have sex and cause a reaction. The owners would say that sex was not allowed and written in the room description and the come back would be things like, you can't stop us, Those people need to be able to be ejected from the room. There may be some times where people get booted for doing things like having sex when the owner has said it is not allowed, but I don't think it would happen often and also think if any problems arise from it they could easily be sorted out. I think the only time it couldn't easily be sorted out is if the booted person was the sort of person that would go in the room just to create drama anyway. It is a much needed tool to prevent drama that has always been a problem in rooms, I can't see how anyone would think it would create more drama, sorry but that is just ridiculous thinking.5 points -

A Ban/Eject button is surely going to be useful in preventing drama... be it by some people who go in rooms for the sole purpose of trolling local chat and making fun of specific or collective of people in said room... but yeah it can also create drama when a person is kicked out, because room owner or his/her friends don't like him/her.... but truly if a person doesn't like me why should I go to their room exactly? "think twice" every thing has pros and cons... do pros outweigh cons? certain yes! that being said, it surely would be useful to have some kind of feature or popup window of some sorts that shows when you hover on a room's name with a brief description on the room and such. This has already been added to our TODO list. UPD: They also told me that many hosts would like to have a moderator assignment function. This is a good idea. Especially if the party gathered a large number of people We definitely need this.5 points -

I agree with twiggy, and rules are simple, as far as nobody annoy others in a room or don't transgress rules made by the owner of the room, nobody will be kicked. By exemple: If a room owner decide that in his/her room sex is not allowed and someone start sex, then these two persons (or more) are warned once and if they continue having sex, they are booted from the room.4 points -
there is no information about a person that comes up when clicking the ignore button. I've clicked that button many times on many different people and no information (personal or otherwise) has ever come up. There would be no information either with a boot from room button, just a simple click that would kick a person out of a room3 points
-
So if you are saying that this button must not be made because it would have access to some same informations than the ignore list, you are too against having an ignore button because it would have access to the same infos than the boot option. It's nonsense. When i ignore someone, i don't access to his/her private informations, i don't see why it would be different with a boot button.3 points

Oh now there is that word privacy that so many seem to use as a weapon in discussions in here as they know it is a big thing with Gizmo. But as I can't see any where that anyones privacy can be effected by this I think you better explain where that can happen.3 points

My friend and I use the messenger a lot. However since the new website, she's only restricted to only one messenger reply per 24 hours, which effectively makes using the messenger pretty inoperative. If that restriction could be lifted for her, that would be wonderful. Thanks2 points -

SusanLouisa and one other reacted to Vaughan_Rarius for a topic
It does seem rather pointless to restrict forum PM's. It is a very useful communication method. I agree it should be lifted so members can PM freely. As for the abusive members, that answer is pretty simple. Copy the abuse, send and report to Support and iggy the silly idiots. They are not welcome in forum and hopefully Support will have zero tolerance towards such behaviour and ban.2 points -
You should be able to kick/ban from your rooms for whatever reason - period. Even if you don't like someone's shoes. Kick, ban, set moderators - SOP's, AOP's (Super Operators, Assistant Operators) should be standard setup. Giving building rights to your property should also be included. This is all very common practice in virtual worlds, games, and IRC (Internet Relay Chat) from 30 years ago.2 points

-UPDATED REVIEW- I left a review right at the start of my playtime here back in 2014, but I feel it doesn't reflect my full thoughts on the game so I will be writing an updated review on this today. I started 3DX back in 2014, back then it was very small, with only a handful of public rooms and only around 20-40 people in each room. The playerbase was very tiny back then, most likely around 2-3k players. Since then the games player population has risen 2-5x at least judging by the amount of rooms there is open now (Player rooms) and how a lot of them have the high 10s and sometimes above 100. Back when I started having 100 players in one place was a massive feat and only typically happened when there was 3DX events going on like Halloween party, Christmas party etc. Over my time here, I have met a lot of great people and not so great people, but this is everywhere you go. It's been a journey but it's been fantastic. After watching the development of this game happen overtime, it led me thinking just where could this game be in 5-10 years time if these big features such as the World Editor, Pose Editor, Clothing editor and any other editors are implemented to their fullest capacity. And I think this game at that point could easily rival games such as Second Life, A-Chat etc. Especially with the 20$ a month price tag giving you all the capabilities you could want. Now with the new forum with it's downloadable feature, this opens up a sort of player run download center on the forum, which opens up a lot of capabilities for players to share their creations in a safe manner, rather than clicking on these sketchy third party websites with no security certification and the referral sites that give people 5$ per 1000 clicks for example that spam you with ads or not let you download unless you disable adblocker. 3DX has been one of those types of games, where no matter how many times you leave the game, at some point you will always return and I find myself in this type of cycle I leave for a little while, but then come back and see how people are doing and what the new happenings are in 3DX with the new updates they bring, it's always one of those places you always find yourself returning to regardless. Now here are my pros and cons of the game: We'll start with the pros: High fidelity graphics giving a new breath of life into the adult gaming genre. Easy to use interface. World Editor, to give endless creativity a go. Unique stories and experiences with the players in the game. High quality animations Direct Messaging Gifting system 64 Bit support Continued development Chosen game engine with a lot of support and content with the asset store, for those moments you need something quick to be implemented. Now the cons: Ignore system isn't fully secure, due to it being character based so the perpetrator can still get round it with a new character. Time between updates. Lack of customisation options for avatars. (We need an advanced system like: https://www.reallusion.com/character-creator/ but with better support for 3DX avatars.) Lighting is not fully dynamic, resulting in when you move the camera it takes a moment for the lighting to update, this sometimes gives weird results. LODs are too easily noticeable and you see them pop in and out rather than a smooth rendering of the assets quality as you move closer/further away. Small development team for a project of this ambition. (Needs more staff I got some good links to recruit more staff if needed for freelance/contract work for this industry and type of game etc.) Delays to reports of inappropriate behaviour. Single server infrastructure. Will add more when I have a moment to do so. Was a quick lunch time review.2 points

I am sorry for the offtop but seems like @Gizmo regularly reads this thread and I need to ask something. I noticed that after the forum update there is an option available for regular forum members to create new threads in "Development & Suggestions" subforum. A couple of months ago, on the old forum – I created a thread, a poll, about important thing, at least for me and I am pretty sure that for many other players too – adding a third gender to the game. But I created it in the "Open Forum" section, many people do not even read it because of obvious reasons. And I think that subject of my thread much more suitable for "Development & Suggestion" subforum and it deserves to be seen by more people, since the registration on the forum is open again, so new members of our community can give their vote/opinion. https://3dxforum.com/index.php?/topic/8896-adding-a-third-gender-to-the-game/ Gizmo, if you consider the things asked in that thread (at least some of them) theoretically possible to be implemented to the game – I would ask to move that topic from the "Open Forum" to "Development & Suggestions". I would write a private message – but this option is not avalivable. I tried to write to Lisa – but she answered nothing – neither yes or no, and considering that there is no new posts of her – seems like she does not visit forum often. I though about just using a @ feauture in my thread – but I don't really know how it works – will it notify or not... So... I am sorry again for offtop - but I just do not know what else to do.1 point
