Well I was going to update my existing Night of Mystery thread in open but I don’t think it necessary. That thread was about an idea and seeing if anyone else had an interest in that idea. This thread is the result of that idea and the event that will soon take place because of it
I would like to take a second to say thank you to everyone who is joining in on the fun and making this event possible. Also I am pleased to say that we will be playing the murder mystery with a full cast on the night.….and hopefully a full moon too.
Everyone who is involved in this mystery should have by now already received their character profile. In addition to this, sometime during the upcoming week I will also be sending each character their objective sheet for the start of the murder. (You will receive a second list of objectives during the game, after the murder takes place.)
Although it is fine to let people know who your character is in game, it is also fine not to let people know who you are and enjoy in the roleplaying of your character….either one is good and totally up to you. On the other hand, the objective sheet that I will be sending to each of you should be kept to yourself until the mystery begins. There are certain objectives that require you to gain information from other characters to aid you in determining who the murderer is, while other objectives may require you to try to keep your secrets secret from the other players and thus hinder them in solving the crime…. So once again, regardless of what objectives your character begins the mystery with please keep them too yourself until the game night!
Also I was informed that putting down 8 pm EST may not be the clearest way to state start up time for the evening. So just to make sure that everyone is on the same page…. Cruising for murder mystery will take place at the yacht on Saturday, Oct.18th at 8 pm Toronto time.
Edit.... Here is a link that will sole any question on what time it is in Toronto...thanx Shanti :
Once again thanx to everyone who is up to putting their detective skills to the test, and a special thank you to my good friend Camden whom without her help this night would never have been able to take shape, you really are one in a billion….*Bows down*
Well I am looking forward to seeing everyone there and will leave you with a quote from the legendary Sherlock Holmes……
*When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth.*
