IVee
TO the developers, Is there a way to fix the issue with closing chats ? so you don't wander off from where you are standing or exiting poses when you close a chat? this tends to be anoying as in crowds we tend to loose our avatar momentarily.? this would be a great fix please and thank you. Also radio still drops out from time to time. is better than last version but i still loose from time to time not as bad. thanks and great job so far thanks so much IVEE////RANDY Vaughan_Rarius
Vaughan_Rarius
I agree. I have lost count of the times I'm kissing walls or windows or falling into the water or jumping up in middle of chats as I am slightly off target on something. A lock down button or something to resolve the issue would be great.

Yvonny
Sorry? What are you talking about? Can you explain pleaseI think he means that when you close an open chat window with the "x" it makes you walk where the cursor points at
jynara
Im sure its not technically a bug but a WAD. But really annoying especially if I am on a stripper pole and then walk off it accidentally by trying to click a chat window, and look back and someone else took the pole
Doc
I saw jumps with my avatar on the Test Server at various times - not just with the chat window closing. Definite bug.

Tlaera
It's not really a bug, more a design challenge. The player is PMing with people and tries to click one of the names he's PMing, but misses a little bit and clicks the environment, so he starts walking. It's more likely when trying to click the close box, since that's at the edge, but the general problem is that clicking is used both for changing text windows and for walking around. Gizmo, I believe that the best solution to these problems is to add keyboard commands to the chat windows. The biggest bang for your buck would be to make Ctrl-Tab cycle forward through chat windows (World, Local, Group, and PMs) and Ctrl-Shift-Tab cycle backward through them. That would allow people to change who they're chatting with without clicking. The second biggest bang for your buck would be to add keyboard commands to the hamburger menu (the menu you click when you're PMing someone). Up and Down arrow keys to select a menu item and Enter to choose it. Then add a Ctrl combination (Ctrl-M?) to bring up the menu. If you did that, you could add an "Exit PM" option to the bottom of the menu. Then people wouldn't need to click to stop PMing with someone either. SmartOlivia
The easiest workaround is to close the chat window by the "Chat" tab at the bottom right: It toggles chat window on/off

Rob.
It happens every now and then, maybe due to multiple avis in the area, multiple chats, whatever the reason an avi will wonder off if the chat window is closed, it maybe due to double clicking or the game sensing double clicking. The Music shutting off and the rooms closing that is a bigger issue. What can make this game more fun is the amount of people that can fit in a room. 230 is still held by Tanya , but there have been parties that start gathering momentum, people piling in, music going great and then shut down. I would blame RobT, but that is the clone of a clone of a clone of a clown, so he is off the hook.. Can't blame clones clause.
