I have saved dozens in the past but all of a sudden when I click save the window disappears but the file does not exist. Did a search to see if it was in some other folder, but is no where. Tried reloading 3DX but same even tried on a different computer, but same. Anyone else have this happen? If so any solution?

Thanks

Here is what I did just before the problem appeared. I wanted to add fireworks to my house so I down loaded Fireworks show by Ricky Skeet. I then went in and deleted everything but the fireworks and saved that as Fireworksonly.world. Next I merged that file with my house. When I tried to move the fireworks I had a problem moving the fireworks as a group without moving parts of my house. I could move each firework individually. So I decided to move the fire works in the fireworksonly file before the merge. I did this several times saving a moved version till I got them where I wanted them after the merge. It is then when I tried to save the merged file of my house and the fireworks that I can't get anything to save. I have no problem loading files and merging files. I've tried reloading 3DX. Tried loading default room, then tried adding a radio to the default room and that will not save either even though I did exactly that in the past. As I said before I even tried to log onto 3DX from an different computer. BTW when I reloaded 3DX the last loaded room file came up when I logged in, so am sure the problem is in that saved file. So question is how do I get back to pre fireworks merge mode? I was wondering if I loaded default room, then erased 3DX on my computer and re installed it maybe that would work, have not tried that yet.

Thanks for your help.

I have a similar problem.

I can design & save rooms okay, but when I try to test, i keep getting the last room I used.  I have tried countless times to load a room, but when I try to use, it keeps reseting back to the previous room.

I am also using the Test Server, but the same thing happens.

So frustrating that I can't update my room.

Something has changed in the saving rooms part of the game.

When you  "Save to file" a pop up box appears & the only option to save in, is the World File format.

Yet in that last couple of days,  my rooms save as  "File"  or  "Z File"    both of which are useless as when I try to upload the room to work on it again, the game does not recognise the file and cant find the file for uploading.

I cant work on or update any of my rooms now as its a waste of time until this issue is fixed.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

No, for me it is still working as usual, no problems at all, and any file with the correct ending *.world is still loaded flawlessly.

There must be another problem at your installation.

uninstall game clean registry shut down pc ps not restart shut down then open pc again download game again

Registry cleaning is almost always a bad idea.

Some good info on it here.

It isn't going to speed up anything or fix problems in 99% of cases and is actually quite risky.

If you don't absolutely understand what you're doing leave the registry alone.
