Gee, I've never had jpeg issues... its the most common file type... I would think its a file size issue.  Google search a free image optimizing service and try to keep the file down to 1MB max if not less.   You may want to crop the image to reduce the file size as well.

As a general rule Jpegs are easier to load as they are smaller files. However some can be larger due to the original resolution of the image. I recommend reducing the resolution size of your image and trying again. Usually you will find more issues using PNG's as they are a higher resolution image compression file and uploading them can be time consuming due to this and you get a long upload time or sometimes it fails as the place your uploading it to will have a file size cap.
