Ello. All I can manage is to put the link in a post, but not the screen for it to play there as well, which I have seen in other posts. I tried using the 'embed' link from Youtube with the HTML bits on it, but when I saved it, it was just the line of whatever and the link in the middle of the line of text. Can someone let me know what I'm doing wrong pls? TY.

Usually posting the video url does it. If I recall right, when it doesn't, removing the s from the "https" should fix it ? Otherwise I'd say try from a different browser

nope, tried removing the s from the https and reposted and still the same, no idea how posting it from a different browser would change anything as I already see embedded youtube videos in other posts here and they display perfectly fine for me in this one. thx though.

or... I just cut n paste the youtube's url located at the top of the screen directly into my message without the [Media] brackets.

My "smarter" half taught me that, before that.... I too could only paste the hyperlink into my message.

                                                  * w/o the dashes (-) at the beginning and end of course

I bet someone else has another way too.  :)

Ohh, no speaking in Haiku this time.
