So here is a question... if you were part way through designing your room, when you go struck by this bug..  not being able to load a new room design, effectively renders your room unuseable... Right?

OK I fixed mine the problem was the antivirus was closing the ports to download stiff into the game you got to tell your antivirus the game is safe and that might help you did me.

So just an update, I've spend some time with bitdefenders engineers, since the problem was caused by them.

They did release an update a while ago and the problem no longer occur for me

yeah I got bitdefender too.... what did you ask them cos I have still got this problem?

Suffered the same issue, same antivirus,  so would be interested to know also. 3dx and the file I wanted to load were both in the safe zone to allow, but it still would not load. I ended up getting so frustrated i uninstalled my antivirus just so I could load my new room, now i am having just as many issues trying to reinstall the antivirus.

Exactly the same position, it's ruining the game for me and nothing seems to help

I can only tell you what I did in my settings: 

 

Online Prevention Threat -> Add Exception:

198.105.215.52

3dxchat.com

3dxchat.net

sexgamedevil.com

 

Firewall -> Allow 3DX

 

Safe Files -> Allow 3DX
