MAC HELP

I tried both 1 and 2

I highly recommend option (2) why?

PlayOnMac doesn't give you the graphics in 3DXChat as window and i don't know why. it's faded and too bright. Also it's heavier and slower than on Windows. Tried many Wines versions, but result always the same.

Download Windows ISO and run BootCamp and it will guide you to end up with Windows (depends on the ISO version you downloaded) on your Mac. in this way you will be able to run 3DXChat smoothly in Windows Environment without any graphics or lag problems. Be aware that in addition to switch between Mac OS and Windows OS, you will need to restart your device always unless you use an application call "Parallels" But it's not a free option (14 Days Trail) and it might case slowness and freezing if your Mac is old or low in performance.

Here are two links:

(how to install Windows on Mac using BootCamp) https://support.apple.com/boot-camp

(Paralleles) https://www.parallels.com/landingpage/pd/windows-on-mac/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw45_bBRD_ARIsAJ6wUXQHtUs-j3L7NnymAtjSr7l5GkqwY9dlaNfDUpl7yMnvzvhUKkpoKRYaAsNgEALw_wcB

Note: If you decided to go with option (2) Please!!!! Read the instruction from Apple before you start because "Disk Partition" can be so tricky and make a backup for you Mac before you start.

Good Luck!

3DXChat is designed to run on Windows PC only, but a lot of users are playing on Mac.

1) You can use the PlayOnMac software to run Windows apps on Mac.
2) OR you can Install Windows 10 on Mac and play 3DXChat.

I'm kind of resurrecting this thread.  Like IITonyII above says I did just try the PlayOnMac method on my iMac and ran into graphic issues - too bright, weird glitches and noise in the screen (I tried several graphic settings - nothing seemed to help).  I usually play on my Windows machine but I also have an IMac (about 4 years old) and wanted to try it on that too.  Weird thing is I tried it before on the IMac with the Test Server when that was up and it seemed better at that time. Oh, well.  Maybe I'll try BootCamp sometime.  Anyone having any success with PlayOnMac on a Mac that is a few years old?
