I am 27 years old and thank God I had the opportunity through my father to meet Disco Music, a golden age of music, where freedom of expression flourished, so as Honey said music is not old especially when it is good, and if you like Disco music means being old, I'm old with a lot of pride.

Disco is not simply old music. It is a style of music just like any other genre. In fact, Disco tracks are still being produced today. It should also be noted that disco was the very early form of all edm music that evolved into what we have today. House, trance, trap, etc all branched out from disco music.

Music is timeless.
If an example can be cited, for me it’s one song. Way ahead of its time.
How to test this theory. Play “I feel love” by Donna Summer to someone who has no idea who she is, how she sounds and when she was at her zenith. Ask them if they can estimate when it was composed and released.

I’ve done this and when I enlighten them, more often than not they’re shocked.

Some say disco died when punk came along. It didn’t die, it evolved :)

there are other examples from the 70s. Giorgio Moroder, actually "THE" composer of his time, as the best example. Giorgio Moroder is considered the "Dance-Music Godfather" with his music, mainly composed on the synthesizer. Together with Donna Summer and Pete Bellotte he developed modern dance music, but also a new idea of international pop. His world hit "From here to Eternity" is still regarded today as the song of electronic pop. With his repetitive synthesizer loops he influenced numerous producers of electronic dance music in the 90s. I like parties like DISCO or 80s, even if it's not my favorite genre. You have a lot of fun at these parties.  :)  :)

That is also one song that has really stood the test of time in so many ways. And when you say it was way ahead of it's time, you are so spot on! Kinda off topic but one other group I think that was WAY ahead of their time was The Prodigy. I think they kinda suffered because not enough people were ready for that kind of music at that time.

Anyhoo... I don't know if you have ever seen this, but here is a fantastic cover of "I Feel Love" by Blue Man Group featuring the very talented Venus Hum.

A música é intemporal.

I Feel Love, 80% of the great successes of Dona Sumer, has a signature of Grande Giorgio Moroder, are the biggest producers of music of today, with partnership with Music like Sia for example,
