how to rotate a group of objects

Hi there :)

Since we all have the chance to merge fully created objects into our existing build I have this one question maybe many of us have:

For example I want to merge a car into my exiting build. So far so good.

After loading the file it appears within my build. I can move it no problem too.

BUT if I want to rotate it to a different angle it ALWAYS simply rotates every single part of the car on its own.

Meaning not ALL TOGETHER at once so the shape of the cars stays like it is.

Every part itself rotates and the shape of the car gets lost.

Is there ANY way HOW to rotate an object which has been made out of more than one part in ONE part, and not every part itself?

Come on there must be a way :) THANK YOU !

I'm a lazy sod, my bad!
I forgot to mention that make sure you've selected everything you want to turn as one by pressing alt.. or shift.. I forget, all the darn time.. till everything is green.
You can also make "groups" - so when you click on one part the whole thing becomes green. You can do this by pressing what I've labelled under 14, and undo with 15 respectively.

Hope this helps!

Heeeey SpearMint THANK YOU  :)

It worked and ooooh boy why I haven´t found out that by myself... I must have been blind  :rolleyes:

I learned about i and got really annoyed myself, i spend aaaages working on a circular set of seats. Had to make em all by hand xD

Then I learned i could just simply copy-paste and.. yeaah... wasn't a happy kitty >v>;

But I hope now you are a happy kitty again :)
