A piece of string is any length you want as it is used to indicate that something cannot be given a finite measurement.

What does it mean to trust?

Wowww good question Mikey...  :)

Whether in friendship or love, for me Truth (in the sense of authenticity) is the foundation that allows to generate trust. Also feel that the other will always be there for you and that we can help each other without necessarily expecting anything in return. It is also self-confidence and be yourself without any doubts or fear of being judged when you're with the other person. In fact trust is hard to describe, it feels in many ways (in my opinion)

My answer is

The person i will love , worship and adore .... my wife and life partner ... when i find her,

Hopefully one of these days .....

"all you lovely ladies in 3dx" come a close second though  :D

I hope my question has not been asked so ...

my question is

Have you ever had sex in public?

Do you still believe in chivalry?

Yes

I try to be chivalrous when i can , but not all ladies want that. Any woman with a strong personality with a sense of independence means i know i don't have to be chivalrous around them, I am still a nice guy not i leave the little details out like opening doors.

Question

Can you be in a monogamous relationship  and enjoy swinging with your partner present and their permission ?   "yes i know its potentially contradictory"

hmm, I would have to say hell no...because

when I am in love with someone, then "I am in love with them" and all I would ever (ever !!) want or need is them.

So, god help them if they bring it up swinging !

Question: Do you enjoy holding hands in public?

Good question. This is my personal view.

True love is pure, non judgemental and unconditional. It transcends boundaries distance jealousy.

It understands a person wholly, good points and bad and it loves the whole person and doesnt ask them to change.

When you are with someone that truly loves you, you can relax because you can be yourself, unedited and ungarnished and free.

Sorry I answered the same question, took too long to type so I will remove my question :) also my personal view.

That question is different for each and every person. It is a feeling, something that is just there. The feeling of butterflies in the stomach when we fall for somebody, the goosebumps on your skin when they touch you, the safeness when you are close, the sadness when you are apart.

Love for me is not something you define, because defining it makes it something you can identify and control, love is and always should be something that just happens, something you just know feels right.

It should make your pulse race, your breathing shallow, your mind blurry, your senses heightened, it should make you feel as if you are floating, your skin should tingle, where words fail you.... Love is something that takes you out of your comfort zone and brings two souls together to form a new comfort zone.

The only part of true love I would define... is that you would do anything and everything for the person you truly love, to make them happy. True love is giving of yourself unconditionally to a person worthy of your affections and who's happiness comes before, but is equal to yours.

I will agree with JanaX and MickeyZA on their descriptions of True Love.  My definition of true love is easy -  one word

Matt Damon....I grew up very humble, just one generation removed from food and new clothes not being a given.  All of my family on both sides were tradesmen of some sort and here I was the nerdy kid that stuck out like a sore thumb because I didn't think the end all beat all was hunting, fishing and Saturday mud runs.  I bought my own computer (Gateway on my own credit) while my brothers and cousins were breaking in their new 20 gauge, pump action shotguns.

Good Will Hunting style for me..I never quite fit in with my surroundings and had teachers always trying to get me to try harder because the bar had been set so low for me in terms of how much intellectual effort I had to put forth to get by.

Abroad, Barcelona, I have always wanted to go to Spain and it is something that I would love to share with that special person. New York City in the states is always nice to visit with that special someone. There are so many things to do, galleries, Broadway, The Met.

Title: How can I go forward, when I don't know which way I'm facing?

Question: Would you rather be held (hugged) or would you rather hold (hug) your loved one?

Arrrgh impossible choice...I love both but being hugged might just edge it. That kinda hug where you just get grabbed and pulled close completely spontaneously...sigh.

If you could choose one leap forward for humankind, what would it be? (Can be anything, not just science or tech, anything you consider an advancement)
