I think the bullies turn threads they don't like bad so that the moderators have to remove them. Intercessional said that he/she is not concerned enough about the issue of the rooms to have an opinion. He/she feels strongly enough to criticise somebody for trying to do something. That is like the person who attacks the Big Issue seller when they do not feel strongly enough about homelessness to buy a copy. I make an edit here. Deleting a thread because some posts break the rules is lazy moderating. I see two things happening 1) Threads that have valid points but are done in such a way they will inevitably get deleted because they break the rules. These are like a gift to the trolls. Answer, wise up. 2) Threads that aren’t the above but are a subject certain people decide they don’t want discussed. These get baited into becoming arguments and get deleted because no one can resist the bait. Answer, wise up. One thing they do is take something people say out of context. They use this to cause drama. I have seen them use informations about people. They take this out of context and use this to cause more trouble. I say to the bullies November 17th at 18:43. This tells them that the complete informations are available to anybody if they know where to look and can pay. Yes! The bullies do pay for informations they can use to bully people. They called her a nazi along with a bunch of other things that happened and the thread got out of hand. So they decided deleting the entire thread was the best action? It was like 3 or 4 years old and like 60 pages or something. Instead of deleting the posts that were in question ... they deleted the entire diary. Certainly not the right way to handle that issue. Since this isn't a perfect forum, the easiest thing would be to delete the entire post. It sucks that some people have a large post, but when the bashing gets to the extent as mentioned above, it should be removed. Regardless of the amount of pages it contained. A small handful of people seem to enjoy making threads very toxic and I will no longer be taking part in any of it. I will be mostly visiting the events and tech support threads. The best way to deal with these types is to simply remove yourself from the environment altogether. That could be really interesting seeing as it is a very small cohort and they all know each other. On the other it makes me so angry when someone tries to say something meaningful or interesting and they mess it up. Like I feel I have to do something. Basically this forum gives a false impression of the game, and it is sooooo not a good one. Shouldn’t the forum be a showcase for the game with a wide representation of users’ experiences? God, i’m repeating stuff i’ve said before and we all know. Seriously though I decided to bow out a while back but I really don’t feel able to let someone else take all the crap. I suppose it’s best to try to pretend the trolls aren’t there and report them whenever they step out of line.
