Sentra Posted February 16, 2018 Share Posted February 16, 2018 Just an idea I was thinking about recently. If I were gizmo or sexgamedevil or whoever is in charge, this is what I would do right now. I would start a new company or LLC or whatever with a non porn related name and history. I would take a clone of the current 3dxchat codebase to make a modified version of the current game that would be under the ownership of the new company. I would remove all the sex and porn related stuff, but keep as much of the nice intimate connection kind of stuff as possible, like slowdancing, cuddling, kissing. Keep all the dancing, clothing, world building, music streaming, etc.. Give the new version of the game a new name, something like Another Life (Idk, just kind of copying Second Life here). I would then release the game on Steam with a modified business model. Either a higher base game price, or a cheaper subscription model like ~$10 / month or something with the first month free. Then watch and see how this version of the game would get exponentially more users because there is nothing really quite like it on the market yet other than Second Life sort of, but we all know how much Second Life graphics and plain old weirdness really sucks. 3dxchat wouldn't have to go anywhere or change, and you wouldn't really be stealing away too many members from it either. This would be a mostly unconnected and completely new userbase. It would make a lot more money in my opinion, and it would push the socially-focused virtual world sort of genre forward because 3dxchat is absolutely the best one on the market right now, just most people don't know about it since it is a niche porn game. Revenue from the new version could be used to hire a bigger or new team of developers, and any non sex related stuff developed for either game could be shared between them. Some of us would prefer to go play this version of the game and who knows, maybe the current 3dxchat sexy time version would start getting more users through word of mouth about how there is a sexier version of this new game they discovered on Steam. chloe, MsCarpeD and Whitesnake 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I pointed out on the other thread about it and how to make it the game itself to cover both the sex and chat only users.You have to change a lot of coding which still isn't accurate as when a person doesn't load for a user they're naked and with men have a hard cock. They'd have to rewrite all the coding to adjust to all of that. As suggested they could add more to the game that would hit both aspects not just the sexual aspects. But it's not about a penetration only. I think there are a lot of players that are enjoy to talk, to exchange their expirience and feelings, to start a relationship and friendship. I see it in the way that players are asking developers to add not only sex poses, but also embrace, dance, kiss. This displays of tenderness. Yes the result is always the Bed. But much nicer to have sex with a person to whom you have feelings or maybe even love. So you can spend time together with the person to get to know him (playing volleyball, walking, swimming, chat, dance, and so on). If you just want to have sex - you can find a person who is just wanting to have a sex also. But it is just sex without relationships and feelings. Satisfaction of instinct and desire. Developing the game we want to create a virtual world for players where they feel comfortable, where they can relax and be themselves, to communicate with good people, to start a relationship, fall in love, enjoy life together, and of course sex. Yet we think of creating an alternative site without nudity. If anyone wants to share 3DXChat with people and friends but as the virtual world or community PS: Topic has been opened - interesting to know your thoughts about it. This was 4 years ago, and we are still waiting... lolI also think his post speaks volumes about how they see this, as I don't feel like their vision has changed since. The main foundation of the great game they have created would already be there. I think there would be a huge market for it on something like Steam, especially with the new World Editor now. If the popularity became what I think it would, they would also need to develop a solution for multiple servers or instances of public locations. Really for that type of game what matters is being able to customize your appearance and add stuff to the game and having a store with a lot of options available. VRChat and Sansar are both going to be hard to beat if your making a game like that, especially if it doesn't have sex content. I personally think the best model is just to have one game with adult areas that are age restricted. Or maybe the adult areas could be subscription based and the rest free with a store. The beach, Night Club and Fresco are nice places, but damn some rooms people have created kind of put the general rooms to complete shame in size, activity and design. I mean there are air ships, space ships, space stations, hell, 3 layered Olympian God rooms, rooms that have a huge ass moon (no not ass cheeks, the actual game moon), and so many others that can be posted on youtube, this forum, tubular, and porn sites, hate to say it but something tells me 3DX Chat is a sex game. Just add more social options in to the game, and clothes etc. I know its more people than me that are not playing 3dx only as a sex game, but i would leave if they took that part way. For me it would be so much bigger game with more social interactions and ofcourse more options to clothes and apperence. So... keep it as it is, just add the social life in to the game and it will be perfect for anyone, no matter how you play the game today. I feel they must keep innovating here and adding features to this platform, or become obsolete in the not too distant future.A second game is probably out of the question as far as workload goes, so better to add more to this platform, New and bigger separate general rooms that you can't be nude or sex pose in and more roleplay features would be a great start. Leathium Posted February 17, 2018 Share Posted February 17, 2018 There were many talented people who offered to clear and import couple poses to the game back then, all of them got ignored and no one of the 3dx team took what they do seriously, and I know even quite artistic builders in game that makes amazing optimized rooms, they could be really be used to create more public rooms, but I doubt any of them will get the valuable attention or be hired, if they wanted to hire more they could of done that all the last years. Also, nobody would be forced to use this version of the game - it would just be another option and a bigger revenue stream for development. Anyone who is happy with 3dx would ofc remain in 3dx. They would see the benefits through the things developed for the new version being added to 3dx as well. Also, I don't think things like VRChat are really direct competitors or offer the same things that this does. Sansar might be more like it, but Idk much about it and it looks like a really expensive / greedy game with the way they sell individual items for hundreds of dollars on their website. Also VR is still somewhat limited in who has the hardware and it is all around too expensive for most still. Second Life and it's terribad graphics and weird dinosaurs and furries and stuff everywhere is not competition to what 3dx does at all imo.
