Game crashes when a room closes

Hello everybody,

When a user room I am in closes, no matter where I try to go, the loading screen lasts forever and I have to exit the game and relog in again.

I tried to go to another room (user or standard game), editor character, my place, but nothing.

Do you know a way to bypass this problem?

Kiss

Hello Nion,

you have a little change to use the "Character Editor" and move to the "wardrobe". Mostly you need to close the game and restart it. But its an old unresolved bug.

+1 here, I guess many have already reported this issue into the forum (included me) but lately and since the last update neither the 'Character Editor' room 'trick' works anymore for me.

Back to your question I have to close and restart the game.

Any advice is always appreciated.

I guess you already know but it happens that you go out of the loading screen and arrive at your destination after severals minutes (wich is quite long when you do not know what happens).

So if you were in an important discussion or that you hear you receive a pm just at this moment ( :( ) it can be valuable to wait 2 mn to see if you have a chance to go out naturally of this screen.

fact: when a room is closed, you are not kicked out...you have all the time. Guests can stay in the room for a while after the owner's disconnection from the game.

When a room closes you remain alone in the room with the message "the room is closed" and the ok button to click.

You have all the time to wander around in the desertic room, since you're alone.

During that time you can just say to the people you were PMing with, that you're gonna try to go somewhere else with the risk of crashing and disconnecting. This is the issue I am talking about.

Not all the room owners say in public chat that the room is gonna close like you said.

In my case most of the time it has happen is linked to a crash of the owner room so out of an information process from the owner.

The good reflex is not to go out and inform your pm of the risk of crash.

But honestly, I find the situation better now than some month ago so maybe the probability to crash in such a case is also dependant of your own internet connection ?
