Begging the devs to add something to World Editor.

Oh hell yeah, that would be great. But 3dx already has an xgold system for purchasing gallery slots, which I assume is because of server space. So maybe import a picture for a certain amount of xgold?  :)

Or maybe just make it a certain limit of images per user room. Or just... get rid of xgold because nobody like micro-transactions. Whatever works to get this feature in-game XD

I'd be all over this.

I wouldn't be suprised if thry are exploring this.

We will need the mesh maps too to fit our custom textures.

Imagine if they gave us control of those images with bump maps, emmisive, etc...

Yeah baby!!

are you kidding, half here are begging for them via game shops. they want to turn it into  second life

Think it is because many think it will increase the content rate speed or releases, if they just cough up something extra with Xgold which it may not actually do :)

Even if I am not in Gizmo and Lisa head, I think they want to keep this place as, in a certain way, "their place". (nothing pejorative in my mouth saying this)

They want to keep at small size, keep the decision of what they do and don't do.

And so the today's flow of money must be enough for them to do this.

On one side it reduces their capacity of developpement because they are only a very small team.

On an other hand it keeps this place a specific mood, a place where you have not permantly the feeling that you are just a money giver and that they do everything so that to get more money from you.

On my side, I prefer a little less content, but that things remain in this spirit and so not become what we find everywhere : just cash machine place.

So I am very reluctant to have a shop to get content based on xgold.

This is just my point of view of course.

I love the way it is a small community and for the most part a friendly welcoming community. I would be very sad to see it change like other games have where the players are "money givers" and there is no soul.

I played a game for years on Steam religiously (daily and for hours) and as the time has grown the players have become viewed as atm machines. (Granted it is a casino game BUT they went from relatively favorable odds where you could play for several weeks before having to "buy more chips" to now people are buying them almost weekly. It's no longer fun.) I was lucky in that I built up 8Million chips and refused to buy any because their packages are outrageously expensive and now as a part-time player who is down to 3 million I'll just play until I run out. The people I liked playing with have all but left anyway. Now it's a bunch of people who have no respect and have turned it into a racist hellhole.

that part of the convo is pretty much moot because for as long as I have been here they have said game will never have shops. everything that the game has will be available with the sub which i agree with. plenty of games out there with shops, knock yourself out.

Well if I understand well the word "moot", I think 95% of forum post are moot no ?

And I agree that I have never found any trace/clue that a shop could arrive.

But it is not because of this fact that when I see someone thinking a gift shop could be positive (and it is perfectly his right to whish this) that I do not feel the need to give an other point of view .. even if it is moot  :D  :D

So both our points are moot :P

hehe, so it makes us a common point +1

I am very far from wishing to ignore you or anyone else. But language always make understanding uncertain so I like to react when I have a doubt .... but I think you too like to react no ? so maybe a second common point ?  :D  :D  :D

This is just my 2 cents worth for the world editor. Having done some development work long time ago I found it a lots easier on new software for people to add help pop-ups for ICONS with a short description of what that ICON does. Saves time pulling up a help file and reading.

A picture is not always worth a thousand words. :P

->please add the ability to make simple animations in the editor! For example, a swinging pendulum or a swing ... movement in a circle (ferris wheel)

->please add the ability to make a "mirror" of the object ... And then you have to collect the second part of the house manually because of the inclined walls ...

->Even I do not understand how to make walls thinner in primitives! It decreases all, but I just need to make them thinner!
->add the opportunity to make spirals
->modify objects use the edge
for example, take a cube and make the top part wider, the bottom already

1. Add measurement tools. I want to know exact length of the edge without counting snap steps.

2. Mirroring would be nice. Not necessary, but very helpful

3. Frustum primitives. I mean cones and piramids with cut off tip.

4. Make primitives adjustable. Rings and quadrants are pain to work with.

5. When grouping objects: make one of them to be an anchor to others. In other words, make their coordinates relative to each other. It will eliminate issues with floating primitives caused by rounding short integers. I.e. I would prefer books on my bookshelf to drift a bit instead of falling into pieces each time I load the room.

6. Add ability to snap edges to other objects when resizing something. One anchor is not enough.

7. Add text window when scaling something. In fact, text windows when working with anything having coordinates or size, or angle, or ratio are MUST.
