SpearMint
I would love to be able to play a large number of songs but sadly my knowledge isn't that wide.Willing to learn otherwise so my question for you djs and music lovers out there is this: what would be the best way for a "music newbie" to really get into music for playing in rooms? I know this won't be an overnight thing, but it's definitely gonna be fun learning stuff I've missed over the years at last xD Big thanks in advance (Edit - derp, didn't even see there's a music side of the forum. My bad! >.<\)
Addam
Heya Minty! what would be the best way for a "music newbie" to really get into music for playing in rooms? To play a large number of songs, you would want to maybe have a theme with a particular music genre, or general similar style. For a beginner youtube is actually a good place, when you are listening to a song, there are usually similar artist suggestions off to the side, or even a mix option with more songs from that artist, or other artists with the similar style But just first try and find songs you really like and try to find others that have a similar vibe and go from there, building a good playlist takes time, but is also pretty fun. You will learn about tons of new music and fall into worm holes learning about different artists and all their influences SpearMint
