Hello everyone

     The Grid room

1st i want to state that the room ia realy beautiful n gratz tovthe builder.

2nd most important:those kind of huge rooms are not dj friendly or user friendly.

Fact 1:long walk till u reach near dj stage.

Fact 2:you can have 50 ppl here n there in that huge room nvu think its empty,so not very good for the djs see n empty room.

Fact 3:not user friendly fps wise .

Now why u build those huge rooms to host an event for 50 ppl maybe 60, why? Why devide the guests? They are not many to start with.

Huge rooms might be awesome n good job again to those that build but plz buils smaller keep guests togeather more warm less lag n dj friendly.

Ty in advanve for takin the time to read this post.

Event 5 is not made by me.

Event 1 had 40 people, 50 max, on version 1, it did not lag too much. Many people that were not able to enter rooms were able to at Event 1. They were able to run around and have fun

Event 2 had over 100 people experiencing little to no lag, meaning no one was left outside. Sadly sabotaging by a group known to disrupt parties occurred.

Event 3 is the biggest room i have seen in 3DX, it was not meant to be an event room, it was an anniversary gift to my wife. My alt Mayhem was supposed to host Event 3, for those who have seen the Double Dragon room, meet event 3. It had 50 people and Lussian claiming the room was melting computers. Yeah the head DJ of 3DX, who has 5 of avis blocked by me, was saying that. Others complained about the long run and bridge, Ayon created that bridge and I love it. It creates an illusion of never ending and once you get to the top, you get an OMG moment.

Event 4 is big, it had 76 people or more in the first day, 87 or more the second and 56 the third day. People were able to go in and out easy the DJs and the people loved it. Not once was it said, "it's too damn big and i am scared.." What was said was "I love it."

Event 5 is not made by me, in case you forgot, has 2,552 people that have seen the ad for Event 5. (Not gonna complain about too many people reading forum are ya?)

I personally love the building Natsumi has created, if you have not seen it, do so when it opens. If you have great room ain't it. But one thing I can say if size matters so much to you build your own room. What mattered to me was not the lag, it was not the numbers, it was hearing how a friend could not join her group of friends because their computer could not take it. It pisses me off to no end hearing how people can not enter a room and feel down because the entrance was too complicated.

Events were created to allow DJs to play music they love and showcase their skill. As soon as it was being called my Event, I looked to get rid of it an put it in the hands of a group worthy of keeping it neutral and fun. It is not a party where the DJs streams, the same songs and playlist another DJ that played the same thing week or day before. I asked everyone those DJs to do their very best that night to gain fans and have no regrets about how they played and what they played. Many of these DJs have grown become so much better, that their best of past Events pale in comparison to what they can do now. I don't know if you are playing in E5 but I do know many of these DJs are worth going to see and hear. There are so many great DJs in Event 5 that I wish I had not let it go. But the members of the COD have done a better job at organizing this Festival of Sound, and here is a forum page bitching without giving the COD a chance. It is sad, a group that is continuing the tradition of showcasing talented DJs that are not even group members is already being criticized. THATS RIGHT A SHOCKER NOT ALL EVENT 5 DJs BELONG TO THE GROUP HOSTING IT. Why, because I WAS NEVER A PART OF ANY GROUP DURING THE EVENTS. Which is why the DJ wars everyone thought happen only happen on ads.It is a sex game, be glad some people made it matter more then just the sex.

Thank you RobT and MeiLing for knowing, it is not as easy making them as it seems. Right now there is an amazing tool made by Tamara called the Floor Creator, Events 1 to 4 that were made by me were done using Rochi's and AlexRyder's DLLs. 3,326 glass tables were used to make the floor of Event 3's Pandora, the room itself contains 13,701 pieces. Aside from the bridge which contains 4,000 pieces were done by hand. Each glass table placed slowly by eye. I had 2 eye infections, eyes irritated by trying to place every piece the right way, using a mouse pad. I am not a programmer, I just make rooms that I hope enable everyone who wants to go in, go in. Perhaps my rooms are not DJ friendly, they are user friendly. But the Festival of Sound room aka, Event 5 is not a room made by me nor does it appear a room Alivia has entered.

We talked, Event rooms have always attempted to be user friendly. People hear me talk about lag that it matters, it does, what is the point in making the perfect room if no one can enter. Numbers too, the more people that enter the harder it becomes to move. So in closing balancing out a room takes time. Natsumi wanted to honor Ayon and Zara, I did not have time, Grid was made in two days, it is like asking a DJ to make a 2 hour set in 5 minutes.

Stealing does not count.

I ask all of you to please understand Alivia is entitled to her opinion and did explain that she did not mean the Festival of Sound room. She has not seen that room and was shown why creating rooms with multiple options do help the DJs get more people to hear them play. Multiple options can not occur in small rooms. And the first user room that broke the 100 people in a room ceiling lagged like crazy and did not have any modifications added. It was a room one, white room that I helped organize and was there for the whole party. (that was when the TVs worked and showed lousy porn!)

First of all, the room used for FoS or Event 5 was not The Grid. It was the Vibe Stadium. Also, You've played there several times and have never once complained about lag or fps drop. The room has been known to have 100+ guests without much fps loss. So I don't understand why you're talking trash about my room saying that it isn't user-friendly. The Vibe Stadium was designed for large events and thus the reason for its size. However, I built it in a way where it doesn't hammer down on your fps and cause a lot of lag. So I think you're completely mistaken about the room you're talking about since you don't even know the room that was used for FoS in the first place. So I'm calling you out for this bullshit.

Sometimes smaller rooms are laggier than large rooms so your so-called claims are false. It depends on how the room was made and what props the builder used.

P.S. The room codenamed "The Grid" was my attempt to redeem a room that was made by Ayon and Zara in the past that didn't get the praise it deserved. The Grid was modeled after the laggy room known as The Prism. It was used by OX and failed. I wanted to transform the room in a more usable way so that its past reputation could be lifted.

Truth about the DJ WARS, they were called that by the group that harassed and sabotaged parties in order to justify their harassment. Hearsay was all that was shown as screen. I would like to thank a few friends that sent pictures of the Pandora program used to show actual proof of who was behind the avis creating drama and claiming to be victims. As for this why it is still I do not know why it is still here, a request to Gizmo was sent to delete the thread, besides Alivia has become a wonderful builder herself and her rooms are not small. It is amazing how good she really is a party organizer, DJ and builder.

SPEAKING OF BUILDERS, Festival of Sound, aka E6 is coming those who want to be it's builder please let Trena know, show her your builds. Festival of Sound is for everyone, not to push the fame of an individual or a group. It is a party that becomes memorable enough to be an event in the memories of those who go there either by finding their favorite DJ, supporting their favorite DJ, hearing new songs or musical method, talking, dancing and not shocking sex (it is a sex game).
