Newbie Couple Question?

Hey everyone,

 

Im sure you get questions like this weekly but I struggled to find much information through google and forum searches. Basically my partner and I are in a LDR and we are looking for a way to have fun and also relax and chill online. We have given games like Second Life and RLC a chance but with SL being a fair bit dated and RLC lacking the player base in its new beta we are still unfortunately hunting. 

My question is regarding this communities player-base and how "active" or "encouraging" other players are. We are looking for somewhere we can play but also open up a bit and explore things in a safer and rather "fake" environment with other people. I've tried finding some starting videos showing off the basics and core game-play mechanics along side some of the fun that can be had once friends are made but to no avail. 

Would appreciate any advice or insight in this.

Note: We are on AEST timezone which will effect it I imagine.

Hi Fletcherino,

 

Having tried most of the mainstream games like RLC etc, I've found that 3DX definitely beats all. The social side of things is better than most I found, sure we get a lot of drama, but that happens no matter where you are.

 

Like you, I'm in an LDR (though I did meet in in game, so that probably impacts how we see the game) and we use it a fair amount to be able to spend time together, try stuff virtually before IRL and that kind of thing. We don't spend as much time in the game as we used to as we've both been so busy with work and stuff, but if you're looking for a way to enhance your sex life while you're separate, I recommend it!

 

There's a fair few unwritten rules, but you'll pick them up quickly, like making sure you read profiles to see if they'll accept colds and if they're in an exclusive relationship (yup, they happen here too!). Once you've got those under your belt, you'll end up finding groups who you have things in common with and I'm sure you'll enjoy the game!
