Futas & Tgirls

Hey everyone,

First, I'd like to thank the friends I've made that have managed to break my shyness a bit. Encouraging me to show and share myself in the proper respectful way and stuff. I appreciate it. =^_^=

So, my mind tends to think on things a lot and I just started wondering about the difference between a Futa and a Tgirl. Me, I'm coming from a real place with it being a Transgender for real but on 3DX the exterior is the same with Futas and Tgirls. So I was wondering if anyone had any insight on the difference between the 2 on 3DX. Is there really a difference? I don't really know about Futas. Didn't know about them until I came here. I asked a few people and they just said it's a woman with a dick. So I'm just thinking well maybe that's just some new fancy name for Tgirls? I don't know. Any insight on this?

Futanari (futa for short) are... well... you just have to Google... this is a good response to a similar question to yours...

Also known as "futa" for short, is Japanese for hermaphrodite (-ism), or having the genitalia from both genders.

Commonly found today in hentai (anime porn), or in the "3DX" community on the internet (a community that puts original or existing 3D characters in sexual situations. They're commonly known for making 3D futa characters or futa versions of existing characters from video games), the characters are normally depicted as a humanoid female with both a penis and a vagina, while most of the time having penis lengths in the 12-18 inch range and a 2-3-1/2 inch girth (considered normal for a futa), or bigger with an equine variant, and excessive seminal output anywhere from pints to gallons.

Futas may be drawn with or without testicles, as it's merely just an aesthetic preference between artists and doesn't change what the characters are.

Futas are herms, but often gets confused with shemales/dickgirls/traps, because so much emphasis is put on them using their penises for acts, and rarely have any visual representation or interaction of their vaginas.

Such characters are usually seen as a loophole among straight males for watching girl-on-girl action, while having a real, fully-functional penis attached to one of them and not an actual male figure.

The difference between shemales and Futanari is that futa is a made up biological sex. Futa is born as futa. A shemale is a trans gendered person who went through a medical procedure to become a shemale.

They're two sides of the same coin.

The first things than comes to my mind to answer is : Futa is a non existing character in real life.

So it is a fantasy character.

I remind this to all people asking to a futa if they roleplay or not.  :)

Some variant of futa have the characteristic to have their penis appear and disappear.

It can be based on moon cycle, 2 weeks cycle ... or .... just desire

Vagina is always there.

So back to 3DX : a female avatar has always the vagina and can pop or not a penis.

Girl, you know you just dropped some knowledge on me right? lol. That is so true. Hermaphrodites is an actual thing. I was thinking Futas was just some made up stuff but now it makes sense. I respect that. Futas are born Futas. Tgirls aren't born Tgirls. That's the difference. Thank you, honey.

I am taking these two comments from Cordelia out of context, just because I would like to add some linguistic information.

In the Japanese language, the term futanari means hermaphrodite, just as Cordelia says.

I don't know much about hentai manga and anime produced in Japan, so perhaps there are some Japanese artists who draw "futa" with testicles, but I have never seen any and I tend to doubt that such a character would be called anything other than a "nyuu-haafu" (literally, "new half")  which is the most common term for a pre-op MtF transgendered woman. The term nyuu-haafu is used widely in the Japanese porn and sex industries, as are several older, more conventional terms, like josou (literally, women's dress), which means cross-dresser.

Something called futanari porn is also very common in the Japanese porn industry, and refers to films in which one or more female characters wears a prosthetic penis.

In any case, the point I am trying to make is that there is something of a mismatch between the English term and the Japanese term. In the Japanese language, futanari never refers to T-girls. It always refers to individuals with both a penis and a vagina.
