Answer for anybody who only sees BLACK at certain locations

Here's a simple solution:-

 

1.  BEFORE you go to the problem location select the LOW and SIMPLE WATER Graphics Options
2. Go to the location
3. You can then reset to best graphics once there

Hope that works for you, it does for me ♥

I'm lucky that I have no problems running every thing on max settings. I love seeing everything in minute detail

Playing on a laptop does have its drawbacks, I prefer my desktop with a 34" screen

Well, so do I but I have to use one of my two laptops as well sometimes as I have to work and travel as well as play.

I am also having the same probrema so that what you said is not working anymore my game was running fine so now it gave the error of the fucking and made my game to stay with black screen and this time it messes up in configurations is not working

Hey! Did you try to uncheck High Quality water toggle in the settings menu and reenter the location?

The simple/high quality water setting is applied when the scene is loaded, so it won't do anything until you reload the room.

As for the other settings, yes, most of them are applied on-the-fly.

Changing the settings worked prior to 363 ... but it does not work now.  Half the rooms I go into are black.
