It's time for photo slots, weddings, and divorces to be free.

Photo slots after the first two slots you're then charged xgold just to upload a photo. To further add to it once you pay to use a photo slot the price then doubles for each slot you opt to pay for. I've always spoken with people on here who has had issue with this and to be honest it does seem a bit unconventional.

 

Whenever you're on social media or any other game be it PlayStation, Xbox, or other virtual world games like this you never have to pay just to add your own pictures. Now while I understand devs were just creating ways for members to spend xgold there should be a better way to spend it.

 

There should be a marketplace for those that want to purchase additional extras for their character or their apartment to the likes that's not included with the subscription. Items such as wall art, better apartments, showers, new types of clothing, tattoos, piercings, new types of furniture, new types of hair styles, and new types of plants that are exclusive to the marketplace to spend xgold on while still producing free content to subscribers though not exclusive as items would be in the marketplace.

 

To further elaborate on items that could go in the marketplace as exclusive items I've created a list of some things below.

 

1. Costumes

2. Better lingerie such as nighties, gowns, and sheer gowns.

3. Actual houses, bigger apartments, and mansions that would include the essential rooms that the two provided apartments lack. (Kitchens, dining room, movie room, study, and bathroom)

4. Formal wear

5. New dances

6. Better stripper pole with more dances as well as sexual animations on the pole as well as against it.

7. Lap dance chairs that includes several mocap dance sequences along with a happy ending sequence and sexual animations. (The same for strip tease chairs)

8. Male stripper poles and lap dance chairs, cause we women get tired of being the only ones able to dance on a pole.

9. Bondage furniture such as sex swings, sex cages, bondage table, torture rack, and etc all with poses and animations.

10. Bathroom furniture and dining room furniture that comes with sexual poses and animations such as table sex, shower sex, and so on.

11. A bigger tv even if it's just for decor.

12. A sex machine that has the mechanical dildo.

13. A massage table as well as massage bed with massage and sexual animations.

14. Animated rugs that has fruits or food along with wine or beer which has a host of new sexual animations.

15. Jewelry that's exclusive to the marketplace.

 

Those are just some of the things that could be added to a marketplace to allow members that wish to buy as well as save up xgold to be able to spend xgold on.

 

I do however feel that people should be charged for an additional character, but I fee for those that enjoy getting married, divorced, and remarried should be free to do so without having to pay xgold.

 

It would open the game up to more things to do while also giving some players that choose to want to shop on here some exclusive items that non shopping subscribers can't have unless gifted by someone.

 

I'm sure some will disagree with wanting a marketplace here to spend xgold on, but there are some that will also agree. I'm sure everyone can agree that photo slots, weddings, and divorces (for those that are into getting married, divorced, and then remarried) should be free.

 

I'd love to get Lisa and Gizmo's thoughts directly on this without hear say as well as the communities thoughts without possible sarcasm and possible trolling.

I respect your opinion, but it was merely an option of what they could do. As I said they could still produce free content for those that don't wish to shop on a marketplace, but for those that choose to shop there items would be exclusive to those subscribing members.

 

I think they should phase out the whole charging people anything to add their own pics not lower the price. As far as weddings and divorces goes well honestly people are already getting married left and right for the hell of it. Like you they pay for their subscription, so weddings, divorces, and photo slots should be free.

The price of this game is already quite high when you don't take the annual discount, without adding a market on top of it.

Yes you don't have to use it if you don't want, but it will definately create some sort of discomfort between "the haves and the have nots" for lack of better word, which I know to exist in different games.

 

As far as photo slots, I also don't mind them having a price, but they should lower the price, because since the price doubles at each next slot, the amount becomes just ridiculous after a few slots.

Last thing this game needs is a market with micro transactions. Plus I doubt it would increase development process either. Clocks in this game are running different then in others. And for some things I am glad they do.

I wouldn't mind a small number of potential micro transactions for clothes, room dressing etc, as long as the prices were set to make them affordable to those who build up a nice little bank balance of coins from simply logging in - kind of like a reward for being a long-term and regular player. I mean, I got 12k of coins atm (I'm sure many have much more) and unless I get into a bigamy/divorce cycle, I can't really see how I'm gonna spend them all any time soon. Not too bothered about multiple photo slots or alts, so a few new clothes or a painting for the wall would do me just fine.

 

But then, I would like a casino as a public space if they ever make another one...

I commented there as well and I'll say the same thing "I have to disagree here. I hate that about all the other games like AChat, Second LIfe and so on.  Im already pretty much broke from real life having two kids and this is the ONE place unlike the others where I dont have to worry about that. I dont have to wear the basics while others who can afford it have the best like other places, or have way more. I love that we are all equal on here and that is prob why I have stayed here for 2 and a half years and not other places.

 

I do agree on photo slots being outrageous on prices but think they should be priced or we would have people with like 200 pictures.

 

Dont agree with marriage being free maybe divorces but def not marriage. It is a little pricey though but thankfully I dont get married every single day on this game lol.

I think user created content would be an amazing addition.  unfortunately the devs don't.  there is already a thread on submitting user created content here

While more user-generated content would be nice to help accelerate the growth of the game adding in an in-game marketplace is where you start to get the ugly side of games like SL and RLC. People get super-competitive. Drama increases. People quit their jobs to work full-time on SL.

One of the things that make this game is the close-knit community. People are equal. New people have the same clothes, furniture and apartments as someone who has been here 3 years. The only thing the older player may have is a larger Xgold balance, more gifts and a larger network of friends. All of which are achievable by just logging in regularly and being a nice person.

The DLLs now also make it as easy as ever for everyone to customise and individualise yourself.

Nice to see a diverse range of feed back as well as private messages in regards to this post minus the private messages asking me am I crazy for posting about this.

 

 

Here is how I see it...

 

 

I fully understand how people feel about user created content on here being a nice addition and I respect that, but user created content wasn't exactly what I was referring to.

 

If the devs hired a team to create content professionally I'm more than sure while many would dislike a marketplace with micro transactions many others would love it and that within itself would bring in more revenue for the game as well as faster release of new content along with more members to join the game.

 

Going back to micro transactions.....some have stressed that they'd rather not have to worry about micro transactions, but when you think about it there are already micro transactions.

 

 

Current micro transactions in game.

 

1. Photo slots (Having photo slots double in price per use with some being anywhere between 1 and 2 mil+ is excessive. Like Twiggy said already......how much real money did that cost?)

2. The purchasing of beer.

3. Weddings (For those who are into getting married then remarried after getting a divorce. Btw I can name several people in game that has been married and divorced in game several times. Lol relationships in 3dx I personally will pass on, but for those that like it I see no reason why they should have to pay to do it especially due to it not being real and only virtual.)

4. Divorces (My view on this is the same as above when it comes to getting married.)

5. 300 xgold gifts

6. The price to have alt characters. (For those who are about that alt life.)

7. The purchase of xgold itself.

 

Someone mentioned other games where you could use in game currency to pay for subscriptions, but the only places I know you can do this is SL, Imvu, and RLC to name a few. Even with those you don't exactly spend in game currency to pay for subscriptions, because there is a process. That process involves creating them selling content for in game currency or land on SL then converting that in game currency into real cash. That's the only way you can even attempt to use in game currency to pay for subscriptions as far as I remember. Therefore if devs or even sexdevilgames themselves hired a team of skilled professional devs in charge of releasing content for this game using in game currency to pay for subscriptions couldn't happen anyways, cause we wouldn't be the ones creating the content. What would happen is sexdevilgames would see a nice return profit from having hired that team in the first place which would also free up Gizmo and Lisa to focus on game patches along with potential monitoring of the game for possible issues with how the game runs.

 

 

Someone else mentioned that men should pay for the divorces, cause it's their faults in the first place. Lol that was funny to me, but not a bad idea to make the person who proposed to get married pay for the divorce as well or for the one who got proposed to pay for the divorce. That way one half pays for the wedding and the other half pays for the divorce.

 

I do agree as subscribing members we are all on equal standing with content, but having exclusive items, clothing, and locations for those wanting micro transactions that is willing to pay for micro transactions there is really nothing wrong with that and would mean that there would always be more to look forward to on a more regular basis than once a month or whenever devs decide to release for the entire population of subscribed members rather than just the ones willing to actually spend cash to pay for xgold to shop for exclusive content. As some said if you don't want to do micro transactions you don't have to, but it shouldn't be forced on the entire community to not have a marketplace should they ever decided on adding one to the game.

 

As far as dll files....well I am sure most know I'm no fan of them despite a friend telling me how to go about doing it. Til this day I still steer clear of them. The only thing that's different about my being vocal on that is I realize despite everything it takes more than one person to build a skyscraper and even if one person could tear one down it would take them forever to properly do it. With that said my being vocal on it doesn't happen anymore unless I truly feel a need to speak on it. Regardless of the fact that I have no issues when entering those places in 2.0 like I did in 1.0 I still leave as soon as I realized that's the type of place I have entered much like I did on 1.0. However the person that said the dll files makes it easy for people to decorate their places like they want was right. That I'll admit otherwise it wouldn't be a popular tool to use for most that do.

 

 

Being spammed with marriage proposals if marriage and divorces were free is laughable to some degree, cause most of us are already being spammed by invites to dance, apartment invites, friends invites, and partner invites. It would easily be resolved with a click of the ignore tab whether it's a complete ignore or an ignore of the messages and invites. That person could remain on your ignore list forever or until you decide to remove them.

 

I was told we pay for our subscription to play the game and not for content to be released. Whether or not that's true I haven't tried to find out as of yet, but if it is or isn't that doesn't mean that a marketplace wouldn't be a good thing for the game.

 

Sure some people left games like IMVU, SL, and RLC just to name a few cause they were tired of micro transactions and the competitiveness of members racing to create content that may have been less than desirable once that content went on sale, but if the content was released by a team of hired professionals then honestly I personally see no issue. It would be a win for those that want exclusive content and willing to pay for it vs having non exclusive items for subscribers that aren't willing to pay for exclusive content and it would be a win for 3dx as well as sexdevilgames as a whole.

 

With that said some might elect to leave, but what's 10 people leaving compared to 50 people joining and choosing to stay? You lose 10 and gain 40....sounds like a more than fair exchange. Lol

I think the photo slots should be a little cheaper but not free outright. I don't know where all the photos people upload to their profiles are kept... but if everyone had over 20+ pictures on three different toons... those pictures have to be kept somewhere on SexGameDevil's servers.  I know most pictures are small in file size but if enough of them...  there's a chance that it could fill whatever virtual server space they're stored in.  Maybe the solution would be a file size cap in total on photos uploaded to your profile gallery instead limited slots.  You could then charge xGold to increase the file size cap... That would give users the opportunity to upload a lot of small pictures or a few large images and not have each of them designated to a slot.  Not sure how hard that would be to implement but I think it would be a pretty decent solution.  

 

As for weddings and divorces being free... meh... Don't care too much about that. Make them free or don't... doesn't matter too much to me.  

 

3Dx Chat doesn't need a store... Lisa and Gizmo have already stated that they'd accept user generated content if it matched  them same style and quality as what they currently have.  So people can already get their attention and add their own stuff if they were so inclined to do so...

 

As for hiring more people to work on 3Dx Chat... I'm all for that.  That's just up to the devs if they want to do something like that.  There doesn't need to be a marketplace for new hires to release content too... they create the content to the game and that would be lovely.  I'm sure it'd make a lot more people happy and bring more people to the game once they see more frequent content updates.
