My personal review:

 

If Gizmo and Lisa didn't die in a car accident, they both showed the worst way to treat paying customers.

I was about to buy another years sub, but i doubt i will do that now...

3 full days server downtime without a single world of status update from any of the staff.

 

PS> Just to make sure there is no misunderstanding, i don't wish for them to have a deadly accident, but they behave like they had one.

I think ClockworkHeart got it about right in this topic, albeit slightly too colourful for my tastes.

The game is great, we all enjoy playing and socialising.

The customer service at the moment is none existant and lack of information is diabolical.

The forum is becoming an untamed monster with free reign for insults and nasties. Thats not good for your reputation.

 

Please could you give us a status update, even if through a third party. This is the third day now the server has been down with no word from any of your staff.

To ignore or class your paying customers as low priorty is not good business practice.

A note once a day would be satisfactory to explain the situation and what you are doing or intend to do about it. I'm sure you are working hard to resolve the situation  but we dont KNOW  that. For all we know, you have had enough and shut the site...  have you?

 

Please let us know in forum ASAP.

LMAO.... "staff" .... hahahahaha.... if there were "staff" the forum would be monitored, there would be at least one person who would've seen the issue and made a statement to the paying users.

 

There is no staff... there are Gizmo and Lisa... neither of whom care enough to check here regularly or give us server maintenance in the first place.

 

There are too many apologists for the "dev team" on here. The simple fact is... we, the users, who pay a subscription for a service, have been left without the service we subscribe to, and have been disrespected by the "dev team" by not a single one of them giving us a reason as to why the service has been interrupted, or even a courteous "We are experiencing a technical issue, please bear with us while we look into it."

 

We have nothing, nada, zip...

 

That is disrespectful to the users that are paying them for a service we no longer have access to.

 

STOP APOLOGIZING FOR THEM! JUST STOP!

Exactly. I couldn't agree more. Actually, I don't even think that Gizmo and Lisa are two different people. I mean, hell, I'm three different characters in game. :D

My review from the last 4 years:

 

Pros:

Aesthetically pleasing, great people (except the troll population which are more childish than expected), had many intense moments, roleplaying community is of high quality if you know where to look, many good social events organized by fellow players and addictive, in a sense.

 

Cons:

Nearly nonexistent updates, nearly nonexistent communication between community and staff, opinions, commentary and suggestions are not taken seriously by the development team, music in all public rooms need a complete overhaul as it has not been updated much (if at all) in nearly a year or more, troll population has increased. The list goes on but I'd rather people make their own conclusions.
