I can't play the game because the patcher throws an error every time I try and launch.I'll get a glimpse of the login screen, then it'll switch to the patcher, show a progress bar that fills within seconds then show me this error. I've tried reinstalling thrice, cleaning my registry, disabling my AV and firewall, etc.Knowing my luck, I'm probably missing something obvious. Help? Also, I use Windows 10 if that matters. I get an error from the Patcher. 1) Completely uninstall the game.2) Remove the 3DXChat game folder.3) Clear your registry. See how to do it here.4) Download the latest installer and install it: http://3dxchat.com/download.php?id=mirror5) Run the game (and the patcher) as administrator, but first add the game (and the patcher) to the exception list of your firewall AND antivirus. Shanti Posted December 24, 2015 Share Posted December 24, 2015 Are you using an old installer ? Sometimes when you use a file that is too old, update fails. I know it has happened to some members. Shanti, I got it straight from the download link on the same page for each reinstall. And yeah, I disabled UAC, ran it as admin, everything. Also, I've never played before if that helps. Rochi Posted December 24, 2015 Share Posted December 24, 2015 Seems like a corrupted installer, downloading it myself right now but its taking a while, which is odd since normally it only takes a few minutes. Yeah my freshly downloaded installer is corrupted as well. The installer downloaded from "Mirror" button took 30 minutes to download and was corrupted, but http://3dxchat.com/download.php downloaded in a minute, worked just fine and patched with no problem.
