Yes I can answer this question for you, as I used mobile connection in the past when my home electricity burned off.

It's eat very few MB if you TURN OFF radio.

With constant jumping between all rooms it eats something less than 50MB per like 12 hours or used to year ago, I dont think anything could possibly change in that.

It might eat more if you stick in the new filled NC 2.0.

However radio is nonstop stream so unless you turn music off (sounds are ok) your connection will have lots more strain as every song is streamed directly from internet, So you have to treat it as any other music streaming platform.

So without radio... you are fine with very low cap.

with radio / music enabled ... it might eat your cap very fast.

It also worth nothing that the amount it eats depends on how often you change rooms, it will eat more as it loads every player again and again if you bounce rooms constantly.

If you stick to your own room with friend or two, it's barely few MB per day.

Until the last couple of months, I did not have high speed internet available where I lived.  I was on a 25 GB of data and never went over.  I always kept the music on and I used other things that ate data as well, Pandora, Youtube, and all other sorts of apps. And you can normally find me in game when I am not at work.

I agree with Riela if you are going to go into the more crowded places, be prepared to use more data.  Also, make sure you sign completely out of the game.  Even if you are just idle online but afk, it will eat your data.  I learned that one the hard way one evening.

I've also as second Internet for Travelling, an 10GB Mobile Internet Data Volume and if you play everyday 2 hours with music and you use also other parts of internet so will 10GB works fine :)

If you want I can test how many MB is needed for an hour with music :)
