Nikki
From a recent discussion I thought I share this with you. Used that myself when I started DJing and its just great if you cant afford alot of music to put in your videos or DJ Mixes. What is Creative Commons? Creative Commons is a new system, built upon current copyright law, that allows you to legally use “some rights reserved” music, movies, images, and other content — all for free. CC offers free copyright licenses that anyone can use (without a lawyer) to mark their creative work with the freedoms they want it to carry. For instance, a musician would use a Creative Commons license to allow people to legally share her songs online, make copies for friends, or even use them in videos or other compositions. Where can I find CC-licensed music? Several sites offer music published under Creative Commons’ flexible copyright licenses. Here are some:ccMixterFree Music ArchiveJamendoMagnatuneSimuzeBeatPickCASH MusicSectionZOpsoundPodsafe AudioAudioFarmInternet Archive’s Netlabels Collection I used Jamendo back in the day. Its a great source for nice music with a lot of different genres. I hope you find this useful. Tidrac
Only one point. CC doesn't mean that you can use the music everywhere or for what ever. Every artist has different license-types to his music. You have to check the license separately. Thanks for the sites Regards Nikki, Chilles and SammyRay
Nikki
Ah yes forget to include that. But mostly Artists state what you can use it for and what not. But thanks for pointing that out!

Tidrac
No problem I say this because i have this discussion in webradios more often. Very many people thinks that CC means, that they can use them like they want. But this is wrong.I think, we should have respect about artists, which are offer their music over CC licenses I only known jamendo till this post
