I heard reports on that last night as well, it was really jumpy in game all the time and as I said, crashed for the first time I've known since I started playing. ... a little like the game was running from another server/temporary server for some reason. This really needs the attention of the Dev's.....come on Dev's! :)

It refuses to patch, there are now no options in the top left to change servers and all I get is a message saying to turn my firewall or anti-virus off, which I did and still get the same crap. Turned back on, allowed the program through, still same. Getting tired of trying now. If it isn't fixed later, will be asking for a refund considering I've only been on 3 or 4 days(2 of those now unable to login)

Thanks for the info, it will help!  :) - and really, we do feel your frustration, but really don't want to lose you as once in, its great!

So you have been in on the game before? But now can't? Or never been able to get in at all, sorry? If you have been on, but can't now and nothing has changed on your system then the problem is sure to be the server for some odd reason, though I'm in the UK to without a problem, as yet.

But if you've never actually got into the game, and anti-virus and/or firewall messages keep coming up then the problem surely has to be there, even in the background. Maybe an over protective anti-virus program blocking as and when it chooses, sometimes without saying.

I wish I knew what to do to fix it! But my knowledge is extremely limited  :(  But I know someone here, forum or Dev will find a solution, though again, its the time difference to consider when replies take a while  .

It's same stuff I used when I was able to get in, so it can't be any of that. Windows 7, windows own firewall, panda cloud anti-virus. If it worked before, can't see why it isn't now as I have changed absolutely nothing.

did you have some windows updates in the last days? maybe there is a corrupt update.

it seems to be a firewall issue, can you make a ping on 3dxchat.com?

(in windows start_execute_cmd than: ping 3dxchat.com) if 3dxchat.com not works try ping 198.105.215.52

do you get a answer from server in form like answer from iP bytes.. time=--ms TTL=..?)

like skar wrote, contact support, i know they are sometimes not the fastest, but they will answer.

The game got a bad history to be hard to reach from some place is on the internet. It the reason why we got a proxy server to in EU now.

You can try to install and patch throught a vpn if the earlier test I sent you are bad. If the server is unreachable.

Done that, got the same ip thing as you did(198.105.215.52), so am guessing it's nothing to do with anything being blocked.

do you have an old version on your pc so you can reinstall it with the old client?

a friend had some issues with a newer version, reinstalled it with the old one, had to wait for all the updates but it worked fine for her

Only problem witht he VPN, 3 hours and it boots you off, but you can try going on again. Better than nothing I guess.

Since you game has been updated properly, you can try the EU server without the vpn.

See how it goes.

It's obvious I'm going to keep running into problems, so on that basis I'm gone from here. No point wasting time on something that simply isn't going to work. Shame though, but nothing can do about it by looks of things.
