Dragon Age : Inquisition (And the series... also spoilers.)

His fucking betrayal got on my tits that much, i made that little asshole my slave by conscripting him to serve the inquisition! muwahaha

 

Dragon age origins i actually played a female dalish elf on my first playthrough, and i romanced Alistair, but the bastard broke it off with me (on my first playthrough i wasn't aware that you could choose that dialogue option to "harden" him then you can convince him to let you be his mistress :S)

Alistair's romance was just SO GOOD! it was the first time i ever experienced such a thing in a game that intimate and i loved the fact that he was so goofy and innocent! there are actually some dialogue options you can pick that are on the verge of bullying him! how could anyone do thaaaaat!?

 

also SPOILERS: I had the most hard fucking decision in inquisition, because the save state i used had Alistair in place of Stroud as the Grey warden (in the save state, i made alistair not take the throne and just stay as a grey warden), meaning i had to choose between Hawke or Alistair during that scene in the fade....so....yeah...i dont want to think about that moment ever again lol

 

My favourite character in inquisition was probably Cassandra! I just love the whole tough girl attitude, and i love that she's older too (she's in her 40s i believe) but idk, during the course of the game i got this "mothering" vibe from her towards my inquisitor which i liked. Plus her reactions to anything romantic or personal are just amazing.

 

In terms of romance in inquisition, as a gay male you probably all expect me to say "Dorian", but my god i fucking HATED HIM! I understand why people like him because of how sassy he is, but upon first getting him into my party and in skyhold, some of the scenes with him, he actually made some bitchy and undermining comments towards my inquisitor in a rather vain way, as to big himself up. I fucking hated him. I still decided to romance him on my first playthrough, and i liked him a lot more as it progressed, but my first impressions of him just stick in my mind, and i honestly don't really like his personality that much. Not to mention the fact that he's from tevinter and just talks about how fine it for people to be bloody slaves! he's just too bloody full of himself and i just don't like him all that much.

 

Atm, im playing a Qunari male rogue and plan to romance the Iron bull, since he's fucking awesome and not annoying like dorian: "IM TOO PRETTY TO DIE" *SLAPS*

I kinda sympathize with Dorian a bit, being a pariah of his country, caring for it but having strong disagreements with key elements of it’s culture… I see myself a lot in that. I won’t get much more specific on that as it would be likely to end in a very whinny post from me. I found him to be somewhat funny, and the best flirt in the game until I met Iron Bull.

 

Now, people, let’s talk about the only god we ever had in our party so far: Fen’Harel… who also goes by the moniker ‘Solas’. And about the goddess who saved our asses in both previous games: Mythal… known to us as Flemeth, but you can call her FleMythal as well.. what did you guys think of their epilogue? My first thought was: “I want Dragon Age 4 pleaaaseeee”.

So far im enjoying the iron bull romance a lot more, although its a lot harder to gain approval for him imo. A lot of the time, when i go to him at skyhold he doesn't have any options to choose from, he just says "hi boss" :/. Im curious if the Female romance with iron bull differs much from the male one. I'm also playing as a qunari, and im sorry my dalish friend, but im actually considering making my male qunari my main playthrough now (my first playthrough of DAI was a dalish male) because i'm enjoying it so much!

 

I haven't experienced solas' romance yet, but i heard it provides a lot more insight. Spoilers I don't believe that he killed or even harmed flemeth in the epilogue. She's too badass and would wipe the floor with that noob. In dragon age 4, they HAVE to reveal something about sandal. We ALL know that he's something more.....

I didn't romance Solas but I did his companion quest and played out that plot line.  I loved his banter with Iron Bull and the chess game they play during our travels.  What I got from that cutscene is that he absorbed mythal's soul (plus the soul from Morrigan's kid if he exists in your save.) and the three became one.  Maybe it "being time" means he's collecting all the souls of the old gods for abig happening in the future.  Just speculation but that's what I get out of it.

My current qunari archer who is attempting to ride the bull. So far hes sided with the templars. I am planning to take tempest as specialisation

 

 

Also my first playthrough was male dalish elf, but i wasnt happy with the english voice actor. American voice actor (for male) is sooo much better! but only suits dwarves or qunari :/ He romanced Dorian and sided with the mages. He was a rogue dual wield assassin

In-game i also can't help but always choose the middle option because they are usually lighthearted responses or sarcastic xD. Top and bottom options are usually too boring. i suppose i could roleplay a good character but that would be dull xD

 

I'm thinking of doing a playthrough of female a dwarf with a 2h lol! And the female dwarf model is actually smaller than the male one, making her the smallest character! and i can just imagine this little dwarf swinging around a huge axe bahahahah
