SweetHeather Posted January 16, 2015 Share Posted January 16, 2015 Figured I'd do this for friends and those who care about me, or simply for those curious. Around the end of December I started getting sick. Initially thought it was just the flu. So took medicine for it, but never really got better. It was only a bit later that I realized it may have been something else. Which it was. I was having a bad reaction to one of the medications I was taking. It did not hit me like a reaction though, it came on slow. So dismissed it as just the flu or something. Sometimes we are not the brightest. And eventually I ended up staying almost a week in intensive care to keep the story short. I am now wearing a monitor and on new medications.
