Setup download virus?

Hey everyone,

 

So I decided to come back to 3Dxchat and I previously deleted the client. So now I'm on the official website and clicking the link "Download 3DXChat (270MB)", but when I save it, it says the file size is 308MB and my Avast is saying that there's a mal/adware (win32:adware-gen [adw]) attached to it? It's kinda sketchy and I was hoping someone in the community could look into this?

Thanks for the help:) But it's weird when I try because my antivirus actually won't even let me download it saying it has virus and automatically cancels the download

 

I'm trying to figure out if it's just me but I'm not sure... lemme know what you find!

So i scanned it with

Microsoft Security Essentials which found nothing,

Malwarebytes found nothing.

Kaspersky found nothing..

 

Im sure someone would categorize it as a "potential unwanted program" and i believe that's mostly because of the TV system in game i think

Not really sure how to download it past avast though >.< Probably just disable avast for a minute and download it is the simples xD

Dont worry

 

My Antivirus didnt want to download it a month ago.

 

Have no issues.

 

I had to remove the game as a treath in the antivirus to make it download.

Avast tends to delete legit programs for random reasons.. it deletes one of the programs i use for work regularly for those who use avast.
