kelsapik
Hi, Everytime you release a new update patcher works and takkes care of the update installation. But last update didn't work that way for me. I have been trying to resolve the problem with many restarts, uninstallations, downloading the installation file fresh, installing the game again and again with no resolution. Patcher works, does couple downloads and installations and when doing the last update gets stuck. I even left it untouched for two days to see if it was too slow process.. What should I do? kelsapik
Oh no, Update 264 --> 265 is doing the same thing and I have uninstalled, deleted all 3DXChat from registry, restarted my computer, re-installed again, waited for all updates and got stuck at 265 with the patcher log file stating: -f -d -s "C:/Program Files (x86)/3DXChat/3DXChat_Data/Managed/Assembly-UnityScript.dll_old" "C:/Program Files (x86)/3DXChat/M2HPatcherTMP/WindowsPlayer270/3DXChat_Data/Managed/Assembly-UnityScript.dll" "C:/Program Files (x86)/3DXChat/3DXChat_Data/Managed/Assembly-UnityScript.dll" CALLED (Filename: C:/BuildAgent/work/d3d49558e4d408f4/artifacts/StandalonePlayerGenerated/UnityEngineDebug.cpp Line: 53) UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path "C:/Program Files (x86)/3DXChat/3DXChat_Data/Managed/Assembly-UnityScript.dll_old" is denied. at System.IO.File.Delete (System.String path) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at PatchClientGUI.ApplyPatch (System.String from, System.String to) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at PatchClientGUI.ProcessUpdateData (System.String folder) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at PatchClientGUI+<DownloadGame>c__Iterator11.MoveNext () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1) Any ideas? kelsapik
What is wrong with these patches or my laptop?Patch 273 is doing the same thing again and uninstalling, deleting the registry, restarting, installing 270 does not help. Here is the last entry at output_log.txt -f -d -s "C:/Program Files (x86)/3DXChat/3DXChat_Data/Managed/Assembly-CSharp.dll_old" "C:/Program Files (x86)/3DXChat/M2HPatcherTMP/WindowsPlayer276/3DXChat_Data/Managed/Assembly-CSharp.dll" "C:/Program Files (x86)/3DXChat/3DXChat_Data/Managed/Assembly-CSharp.dll" CALLED (Filename: C:/BuildAgent/work/d3d49558e4d408f4/artifacts/StandalonePlayerGenerated/UnityEngineDebug.cpp Line: 53) UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path "C:/Program Files (x86)/3DXChat/3DXChat_Data/Managed/Assembly-CSharp.dll_old" is denied. at System.IO.File.Delete (System.String path) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at PatchClientGUI.ApplyPatch (System.String from, System.String to) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at PatchClientGUI.ProcessUpdateData (System.String folder) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at PatchClientGUI+<DownloadGame>c__Iterator11.MoveNext () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1)
Rochi
Umm i have a feeling something like a virus protection is blocking the updates..
Guest Skar
Try to run the game as administrator. Right click on the game icon and run as administrator. See if it goes throught this time. Something prevent a file to be deleted. Can be access right or security suite (anti virus).

Eddiefy
Would it be possible to add to the exception lists of both the anti-virus and firewall so that we dont have to turn them off every time? If possible what should we add to the list?
Guest Skar
yes. it possible but it depend what anti-virus you use and if you are using Windows Firewall or your security software firewall. It doable, the how depend really on your computer setup.
